About the founder
I am forty-three years old. I am the founder of Sodafom, and I am building a platform so you can put your house on the market without paying estate agent fees. This is done through marketing yourself using the Sodafom app and tools, which I have written the code for.

It will make you able to share your property on social media and through Facebook accounts in your local area, so your home gets advertised where people already are. Users of the app can also look at houses on the app service and make every listing look professional using the app.

Michael Davis is the founder of Sodafom, the do-it-yourself platform for selling and buying homes in the United Kingdom. After seeing too many families hand thousands of pounds in commission to estate agents for work they were happy to do themselves, he set out to build a simpler, fairer alternative.
Sodafom puts the homeowner in charge from start to finish: find your address from your postcode, see the official HM Land Registry sold price, list every room, take your own photographs and video for social media, receive bids and speak to buyers directly. It is free to use — there is no commission, and no percentage of your sale price ever leaves your pocket. Sodafom never advises what your home is worth or what price to accept; that is entirely your own decision and your own research.
Michael's commitment is that the platform stays plain-speaking and easy for everyone to use, which is why every page can be read aloud and every field can be filled in by voice.
